Description

The IT support specialist seasonal) is responsible for providing assistance to internal computer users. This position involves answering questions and resolving computer problems in person, via the telephone or by e-mail. This position has considerable user contact and requires good people and organizational skills, attention to detail and requires follow up and communication.

Description of accountabilities

  • Image workstations
  • Deliver and provide set up for users
  • Install, upgrade and troubleshoot servers, PC’s and printers
  • Setup and maintain email, and user accounts to various systems

Required qualifications for this role

  • Two + years of help desk support
  • Knowledge of Windows and MS office
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to be collaborative with teams across the organization
  • Demonstrates a can do positive attitude
  • Excel in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Availability for after-hours support as needed

 

Preferred qualifications for this role

  • Active directory knowledge
  • Comp TIA A+, MCSA or equivalent certification
