OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources the Director, Recruiting leads the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting and talent acquisition strategies designed to attract and retain top talent. The Director of Recruiting leads initiatives to recruit associates who align with our culture and values while providing world class results for our customers and clients. This position plays a key role in creating a unique and deliberately different talent acquisition strategy across the company that builds a robust talent pipeline to support the accelerated growth of the company.
 
Acting in a pivotal role for the company, the Director, Recruiting provides leadership in the areas of recruitment and retention strategy, program design, tactical initiatives and management. The Director, Recruiting in concert with the HR & Recruiting management team is responsible for the effective acquisition of employees with the right skills, behaviors and attitudes to attain the company’s growth and success. The position plays an essential role in creating and implementing a recruiting culture across the company, designed to fuel optimal candidate engagement and employee performance. The position also guides, coaches and inspires recruiting managers and staff to meet the people needs of the business, while growing a success-driven culture of continuous improvement.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership in the creation of a long term recruiting and talent acquisition strategies and the identification of strategic talent gaps
  • Participate in the development of the company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact to people
  • Partner closely with the senior management and HR management teams to understand changes in the organization, staying closely connected to each business group
  • Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into Recruiting strategic and operational plans
  • Provide leadership in the creation of the employment “Brand” for the company and communicate such via websites, postings, employment ads, job fairs and recruiting materials
  • Develop, coordinate and drive the activities, programs and strategic recruiting efforts of the team of recruiting professionals in the company’s call centers and sales offices.
  • Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the company for positions of responsibility. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company
  • Utilizes historical trending and partners closely with operational leadership to develop solutions that addresses seasonal resource increases
  • Evaluate strategies (technology, social media, job fairs, open houses, employee referrals) and create business cases for needed investments in those strategies
  • Develop, track, and communicate key metrics and measurements to track recruiting/staffing performance versus objectives and recommend/implement solutions where appropriate
  • Track compliance with required practices (applicant tracking, pre-hire assessments, drug and background screening) and ensure necessary training is successfully executed
  • Source, select and oversee necessary part-time and contingent recruiter resources to achieve staffing requirements
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior level Recruiting/Talent Acquisition position in a company that experienced high growth, with a multi-office, multi-state environment
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated and proven recruiting management experience in a high volume call center / contact center is required
  • Experience partnering with executives and other business unit leaders to drive business growth
  • Experience with developing a consistent recruiting approach and process for a geographically dispersed business
  • Experience leading teams of recruiting managers and staff in both on-site and remote locations
  • Ability to provide direct and constructive feedback to direct reports, peers and partners
  • Experience supporting a healthcare sales and/or customer service environment is desirable
  • Ability to bring immediate credibility to the recruiting function through his/her professional qualifications and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of best-in-class sourcing and selection processes
  • Experience leading and negotiating with third party recruiting partners
  • A behavioral work style that is approachable, hands-on, and shows attention to detail
  • Successful track record in talent management, recruiting and retention initiatives
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills…high drive for action and results orientation
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the continental U.S.; up to 25% travel required
