Location: Tampa, FL

The recruiting coordinator will:

  • Support internal/external recruiting functions of the human resources department
  • Serve as the initial contact for employees, managers, or candidates regarding questions, issues or processes for assigned function
  • Act as a point of contact for licensing team to candidate throughout appointment process
  • Coordinate the flow of candidates throughout the recruiting process
  • Handle other assignments that are varied and moderately complex
  • Ensure job descriptions are posted in applicant tracking system (ATS) and posted externally in a timely manner as well as update job postings as needed
  • Maintain recruiting portion of the company intranet, social media and job boards
  • Investigate inquiries related to assigned function, escalate complex or urgent issues to management and follow up with employees, managers, or candidates regarding status
  • Audit social media and job boards on a regular basis to insure accurate and compliant information is visible
  • Collect all invoices for recruiting and submit to accounts payable in a timely manner
  • Assist in budget preparation and maintenance to include, tracking of all recruiting costs and expenses
  • Maintain weekly open job and hiring reports
  • Support internal and external recruiting function by coordinating, scheduling and handling logistics requirements
  • Complete reference checks, offer letters and triggers new hire onboarding including background checks and scheduling pre-employment drug screens
  • Assist with phone screens and candidate sourcing
  • May provide administrative support to the HR department
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal departments, and hiring agencies to ensure a streamline hiring process
  • Work with recruiters, managers, supervisor, licensing and the training department
  • Work to ensure consistencies through all departments to provide a seamless hiring experience for all new hires
  • Ensure communication to all parties involved in the recruiting,  hiring and onboarding process
  • Communicate accurate information to all stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team with maintaining employee files, assisting in onboarding activities, completing new hire paperwork, acting as liaison between employees and payroll/benefits departments to resolve issues
Requirements:
  • Two+ years human resources experience
  • Proactive, highly motivated and professional
  • Experience using HRIS or ATS system
  • Schedule flexibility to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized
  • Ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven work experience as a recruiting coordinator or recruiter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within a deadline
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Ability to conduct interviews
  • Ability to use assessment tools
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ATS systems, knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn
