Location: Tampa, FL

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic individual contributor in our Tampa, FL location. This key leadership position reports to VP Call Center Operations, and is responsible for expanding sales and effectively developing top sellers, while increasing overall growth for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Champion day-to-day mentoring and development to key sales staff which will enable them to continuously exceed their goals
  • Establish performance expectations and goals, evaluate performance results, and provide feed-back to leadership team regarding trends
  • Ability to develop comprehensive action plans, identifying timelines, potential roadblocks, as well as the ability to measure success level of the action plan
  • Direct the sales staff's efforts to ensure both compliance with CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services), company standards and legal requirements
  • Enhance sales force capabilities by demonstrating a hand-on approach, developing a holistic approach to increasing sales, and building an end-to-end sales system/program that can be utilized across the organization
  • Develop comprehensive cross selling programs with ancillary products (both Medicare & IFP)
  • Create and drive a culture of sales engagement across the organization
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as HR, training, operations, sales support, IT and QA to ensure open lines of communication across the organization

Required

  • 10+ Years of successful sales / sale managements experience
  • Previous management experience in a call center environment
  • Solid knowledge of CMS rules and regulations
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare and ACA insurance plans
  • Solid understanding of call center technology, terminology and environment
  • Proven track record of increasing sales in a phone based environment
  • Current Life/Health Insurance license
  • Strength in gaining consensus across a multidisciplinary team (internal & external partners and clients)
  • Excellent verbal, written and Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Polishes customer presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel - 50%

Preferred

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution required with concentration in business, communications, health or other relevant discipline, MBA preferred
  • Six Sigma or Black Belt certification
