The ideal candidate for the account service representative (ASR) / sales support representative (SSR) works closely with the national sales director and director of account management to ensure that tactical plans are met for our health plan accounts. Duties include managing work plans, strategic plans and project plans ensuring work is completed on time and as outlined for our contracted clients. The ASR/SSR will work with various departments managing deliverables against the necessary timeframes and client expectations. The ASR/SSR will interact with the director of account management, VP of business development and national sales director regularly reporting on progress to outlined plans. The ASR/SSR will report to the chief sales officer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage open items lists, project plans and account management plans as directed by the director of account management and/or national sales director
- Manage employer solution clients ensuring data is shared and delivered in the appropriate manner and necessary timeframes
- Provide trouble shooting when needed with client process issues
- Prepare updates for internal and external use on progress
- If needed to complete work item, interact with various areas of the company responsible for deliverables and manage work completion against expectations and committed timeframes
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for clients allowing time for the directors to complete management summary
- Identify work at risk of meeting committed deadlines and work with VP’s/directors on needed action plans to get back on track
- Monitor operational reports against SLA’s, performance guarantees and contract requirements identifying concerns and work with director on action plans to put back on track
- Assist in preparing client reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Work with finance in preparation of monthly client billings
- Serve as point of contact for clients when director is unavailable or out of office
- Manage implementation of performance marketing campaigns with brokerage leadership, monitor delivery of weekly reporting to national sales director
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- Skilled with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to prepare presentations and reports

Preferred qualifications for this role
- Knowledge of Medicare, health insurance and call centers operations
- Experience in a client service role
